Vacations - The Pursuit of Anything. LP [Ltd. Evergreen Vinyl]

Newcastle band Vacations who experienced a truly meteoric rise off the back of songs from their 2016 album 'Changes' going viral across social media, bringing their nostalgic blend of indie pop and rock to their biggest audiences ever.

Sold-out world tours, double-platinum certified hits, and over 3.5 billion streams and counting... to say Vacations is a success story would be underselling it greatly. From the get go the band have always felt like a cut above the rest, with a jangly and heartfelt take on dream pop that gave nods to greats before them like Mac Demarco, Mild High Club and Her's.

Now onto their 4th album 'Pursuit of Anything' frontman Campbell Burns turns his views towards this uniquely bizarre growing up experience.

Musically this is easily their most fully formed effort to date, with Beatriz Artola (Geese, Caamp) hopping on mixing duties and adding a delicate richness and warmth across the record.

Burns analyses and draws infinite inspiration from his bandmates lives after a whirlwind 10 years. Grappling between ambitious exploits and a quieter more traditional life and how their experiences slightly differ and what it all means in the grand scheme of it all. It’s an emotionally mature coming of age from a the local heroes.

For fans of Mac Demarco, Her's & Mild High Club
