Shady Nasty - Trek. LP [Metallic Silver Vinyl]
Debut album from Sydney unsung heroes Shady Nasty, Trek is the construction of years and years of live shows and slowly but surely honing their craft as songwriters. After establishing a cult following for their rawkus and electric live shows, band members Luca, Hayden and Kevin find themselves all equally shining on Trek.
Hyper angular guitar stabs drenched in reverb, booming bass and skeletal percussion that’s played to serve the songs first all serve as the backdrop for some of the most impressive vocal performances of Shady’s career. It's hard for it not to feel like a coming of age record for your favourite band's favourite band. They’re all grown up and it feels like Sydney's best kept secret will soon be making waves all over the world.
