The Smile - A Light For Attracting Attention [2LP Indie Exclusive Yellow Vinyl]
The Smile - A Light For Attracting Attention [2LP Indie Exclusive Yellow Vinyl]
Debut album from The Smile aka trio of Jonny Greenwood, Thom Yorke and Sons of Kemet’s Tom Skinner. With one foot in the Free Jazz world but the heart of a rock band The Smile manage to equally share the load and distinctly prop up each members skill set all the while sounding like something greater than the some of its parts. One of the strongest debuts of 2022!
For Fans of Tangents, Godtet and Portishead
Having previously released the singles ‘You Will Never Work In Television Again’, ‘The Smoke’ and ‘Skrting On The Surface’ to critical acclaim, the 13-track album was produced and mixed by Nigel Godrich and mastered by Bob Ludwig.
