Released initially in 1977, "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope”, or as it was originally known, “Star Wars” follows the story of a young Jedi, Luke Skywalker. In the film, Luke joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station. All while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.

This timeless film was scored by the world-renowned composer John Williams, whose masterful touch brought to life some of the finest songs to have graced the big screen. Performed by The London Symphony Orchestra, Williams’ songs ebb and flow through powerful peaks of excitement, anticipation, suspense, fear, and hope of the film. One of the most iconic soundtracks in the history of cinema, this release is a must-have for any Star Wars or film score record collection!
