✨ALBUM OF THE WEEK ✨

After all the hype of their live performances and their EPs, black midi deliver their debut album, Schlagenheim. And it’s a bloody monster! It’s kinda hard to talk about this band without dropping all the band references that make up their wild mish mash of a sound.

There’s the Shellac and Big Black razor edged guitar tones that get cranked through a Battles like math machine all propelled by skitty Tortoise like jazz drums. There’s absolutely nowhere these guys aren’t prepared to go and it makes for one thrilling ride and one of the best records of 2019.
