Marking CASIO Watch’s 50th anniversary, the brand revives the very first ring watch — a playful yet practical innovation made possible through advanced miniature modules and precision metalworking.
Creating a full-metal, ring-sized version of the iconic CASIO form required a special manufacturing process. Using Metal Injection Molding (MIM), fine metal powders and resin are injected into a mold, allowing the case, case back, and ring to be molded as one seamless piece. Even the signature dimpled band design has been faithfully reproduced. A special glass adhesive technique provides a watertight seal while still enabling battery replacement.
With an inner diameter of 20 mm (size 22 finger / US 10.5 / EU U), the ring watch includes two spacers for size adjustment — size 19 (19 mm inner diameter) and size 16 (18 mm inner diameter).
The standard watch module has been downsized by a factor of 10, paired with a small button battery to create a 3-button digital watch that fits comfortably on your finger. Despite its size, the 7-segment LCD displays the time down to the second, along with date, dual time, and stopwatch functionality.
Preset your chosen time, and the ring watch emits a subtle flashing light — not only a useful reminder, but also a poetic nod to the fleeting twinkle of time.
