The Velvet Underground - Loaded. LP [Ltd. Ed. Purple Vinyl Reissue]
There is a pop and fizz to everything on the record. For an outfit that unprecedentedly tugged at the fraying seams of civility, the duly rugged beauty and enthusiasm in the simple, melodic guitar has a stunning beauty all of its own. Loaded is the album where the Velvets play with gritted teeth and muscular confidence, a true classic in their catalogue.
For fans of The Stooges, Bob Dylan & Television
