Silver Jews - Starlight Walker. LP
Starlite Walker is where the Jews began their pilgrimage into alt-country/indie/slacker rock pantheon. It consists of material worked up by David Berman and his friends, most notably, Stephen Malkmus of Pavement. Sloppy in its nature, this is the sound of Silver Jews figuring out their sound, and is an essential piece in the ever interesting David Berman puzzle.
