Animal Collective - Strawberry Jam. LP
Arguably the peak of their unbelievable run of from in the 2000's, Panda Bear wanted to recreate the texture of a packet of strawberry jam he reviewed on a plane. Retaining the grit and explosiveness of their early work but leaning tighter on pop song structures, this is a real winner.
