Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion. 2LP [Deluxe Green & Purple Vinyl]
9th Studio album from the Baltimore group, MPP helped set the bar for psychedelic tinted alternative pop music in the 2000's. Inspired by the sample heavy nature of group member Panda Bear's record Person Pitch, Anco jump down into a bass-heavy, colourful kaleidoscope of sugary sweet chaos. Its an album that tries to be perfect and comes very, very close.
For fans of Four Tet, Atlas Sound & Panda Bear
